I have several boxes of these. 2 pairs for ten bucks. I've used these for all kinds of things. The plastic can be removed, there's a threaded collar behind them that spins off, and there's a set screw that clamps down on wires inserted into the shaft. Everything's gold plated, they never tarnish.
