Technology company located in the the Toledo OH area seeking technicians
to manage computer server equipment and provide logistical support
Part-time position 0-20 hours per week, $25 per hour on a 1099 basis
Working afterhours OK, no restrictions implied on other work arrangements
Likely to increase responsibility and time depending on availability and
ongoing company development
Must be proficient with computers, networking, hands-on repair of
computer servers
Domain-specific and application-specific training will be provided on
the job
Requirements:
- Lives locally in Toledo OH or willing to stay / be available
year-round for at least 1 year, preferably ongoing
- Strong character and integrity a must-have with specific examples of
demonstrating such in a professional setting
- Associate's/Bachelor's degree at least in progress OR HS diploma with substantial technical training/experience/certification (electrician, HVAC, programming, general contractor) suitable substitute
- Preferably studying a technical/STEM field including computer science,
mathematics, electrical engineering, electrician or HVAC qualification, physics,
etc.
- Must be capable of physical work for deployments of hardware,
warehousing, building racks
- Able to operate pallet jack
- Available on a variable, part-time basis, including response to urgent calls within 24 hours
- Must have a driver's license and have vehicle for in-town trips (pickup truck preferred)
- Longer distance trips will be compensated for travel costs and time
