This Avon Collection was sold piece by piece from year to year, from the early 1980's through the early 1990's; it is getting harder to find in sets as large or as complete as this one; correspondingly the value determined by classic 'supply & demand' factors is still going up every year! currently equally or frequently exceeding $600!~

all the pieces to erect the stable/manger/creche centerpiece, in box;
[nearly-] complete 1980's/1990's Avon Porcelain Nativity Set in Boxes; each is dated on the base, the years range from 1981 through 1992; therefore they range in age from 23 to 35 years, and have a beautiful porcelain patina, not shiny, more like powdery, retaining a slightly off-white shade.
The protective boxes and their Styrofoam inserts are like new

IN BOX: the Standing Angel 1987 'ask' prices on ebay have ranged from $39.00 to $134.95 plus shipping for this one piece alone !
The prized piece is the "flying" or "hanging" angel, which, though smaller than the standing angel, has a small wire loop imbedded in the back between its wings, and is designed to allow use as a hanging ornament, to be hung from the stable rafters so as to be hovering above the scene, or on the tree!

with NO: chips, cracks, smudges, writing, marks or marker marks, stains or
repairs.
