Permaculture is a holistic approach to gardening, farming,
landscaping, building and living that emphasizes common sense
and self-sustainment. It is an attempt to integrate several disciplines
including; biology, ecology, geography, agriculture, architecture, and
appropriate technology, into the ways we farm, garden, raise animals,
build structures, preserve food, and produce and use energy. It draws
on the experience of cultures that have found the best ways to provide
for themselves with the resources with which they have to work.
This is a class for all ages and applies to anyone from hobby
gardener to serious corporate farmer.
