We have a 2017 Crownline 285ss with about 100 hours on it for sale. We bought this boat brand new last year and used it for one season. The boat still looks like it just came off the showroom floor and still has 4 years left on its warranty!! We bought the trailer brand new custom fit for the boat and will sell the trailer for an additional $4,000. We are only looking to sell because we decided we want to try out a center console and start doing more fishing.
It has a single Mercruiser 6.2L with 300hp that will propel the boat to around 43mph. The boat is great, it can comfortably seat 10-12 people. The bow has Crownline's signature "Hot Tub Seating" in which the bow seats are contoured for better comfort when you have your feet up and the bow also has nice sturdy arm rests. The bathroom on this boat is one of the biggest for this class and has an electric flush system. The boat has 2 different places to keep the coolers underneath the seats, one in the bow and one behind the captains seat. The 2 OEM coolers come with the boat. The backrest of the seat in the stern actually will fold completely flat making it a sunpad or you can stop it in any position to face backwards or make yourself more comfortable! It has a Garmin GPS with engine data on the digital display. The boat has blue underwater lights and also blue lights in the air intakes on the side of the boat. The windlass anchor is a nice touch in this size of boat. The boat also has docking lights (like headlights) for when you're pulling into the dock after sunset. It also has the upgraded sound system(bluetooth and aux/usb) with 8 speakers on board, 2 that face backwards of the transom for when you are spending the day anchored and playing in the water. There are also audio controls on the transom so you can change the music without having to get back in the boat. You can also control the tilt of the engine from the transom, so if you can adjust it when its on the trailer without climbing into the boat or when you are anchored and want to pull the boat closer to shore. The bimini top is really tall (i'm 6' 2'' and still have 5-6 inches above my head when i'm under it. Obviously the boat has a full cover. There is also a built in battery charger that you can pull the cord out from the transom and plug in to charge the batteries! We also had the bottom painted with the proper barrier paint to protect the fiberglass so you can leave the boat in the water for the season.
I wish I had more photos, but the boat is winterized and in storage so I tried to find as many as I could, I included some of the pictures from the showroom when we first bought it. I can assure you that you will LOVE this boat! It has all of the amenities as the more expensive boats in its class, but won't break the bank like some other the other brands like it! Get a basically brand-new boat without the brand new boat price! the warranty allows you to rest assured that if anything goes wrong in the next 4 years, it wont come out of your pocket!
