Owner is selling this small town Ice Cream Shop. This has been in business for 10 years and is a very popular local attraction in this great small town. The business is located in a building that is beside the bike trail / walking trail. Great place for people to get a treat after exercising on this beautiful paved trail. Also great location near local baseball diamonds / soccer fields for the children to enjoy with their coaches, teammates, family, after the fun games. And just down from the school. Great location!
We were in business for 8 years but than I had a serious fall and am now confined to a wheelchair. This was the family business and I was very active in running it and treating my customers with wonderful service. We had to close because I was hospitalized for three months and then was learning how to manage my new life. We reopened the business so now you are purchasing an operating, profitable business. The reason we are selling is because I can no longer be at the location whenever needed since I can't drive. I am able to be there managing, working, and other aspects of the business but I feel it is important that the owner or manager is available as needed such as a day all the workers have something come up or are ill, it's an unexpected super busy day so scheduled workers need additional help, there is an issue with the equipment, a shipment, a customer problem, etc. I am also unable to do the supply purchasing of items more cost effective to buy locally rather than from a large supplier with delivery service. I am very willing to provide new owners with all the information on what is offered for sale, where items are purchased, how to operate/clean any of the equipment, etc.
The shop is located in a leased building / building is not for sale - sale does not include property.
Everything is included just as it is being operated - soft serve ice cream machine, slushie machine, milk shake machine, sundae blender, refrigerator, freezer, sinks, work tables/counters, tables & chairs, and all inventory. This is ready to go. You are not buying a business because someone is tired of it or let it go for lack of interest. You can step in and start turning a profit the day the papers are all signed and you choose an opening day.
The accident occurred at my home - it was not work related - just a bad fall that changed my family's life.
Business is called I Scream On Your Left - name is included in the sale and it is up to the new owners whether to keep the name or make it your own name! There is lots of additional space included so this could be made into a coffee shop, bakery, restaurant, etc. along with the ice cream. There is an office and meeting room included in the rent. Great opportunity for several people to go into business together.
This community was so excited to have us opening back up and has certainly kept it in business with the return to opening it back up.
