Bought for $3500 because it has a rust free tub and good frame (rare in the rust belt).
It only has 112k miles on it. AMC 6 cylinder known to last a LONG time.
Custom paint was another $3500. Rims and tires were $1900. Roughly $9k invested in a classic Jeep.
Does not have a top or full doors. Nit has always been in the garage and has been a summer toy. Automatic trans. Tops and doors are easy to find cheap for YJs we just haven’t needed them.
It needs a turn signal switch. Not expensive but you have to pull the steering wheel. It leaks some oil and some ATF. We drive it 5-7 times a year so we just top them off when we do.
Gets tons of looks and ducks at Jeep fest. Gets tons of attention at car shows. If you want a perfect show truck it needs restored. We just enjoy it as is. Would take $4500 cash, which is half of what we have in it.
Trades considered: VERY NICE enclosed trailer, good looking full sized truck, family car, home defense items, or ??
I am NOT interested in anything needing work or anything rusty. If I had the time to work on a project Inwould just restore the jeep…lord knows we have plenty invested. Our lives got very busy in the last two years and I simply don’t have time to tinker.
Starts, runs, drives. We took it to Cedar Point last year and had no issues.
Scammers, don’t bother. I won’t take a check. I won’t allow your agent to pick it up. I don’t need help selling. Not in a hurry to get rid of it but the weather has broke and there is someone out there who needs to make their wife a bad ass jeep and this one has the hard parts done!
