I had a boat mechanic/collector come look at it yesterday, Wednesday November 4th. He said that this boat is in great shape and would be perfect for restoration. I just wanted to get some more ideas since my boat knowledge is very limited. He said the trailer is in great shape, just needs a wire brush to remove some rust and a paint job. The body of the boat has some minor dings, but is completely repairable. And the boat floor is very solid, he actually got up in there and jumped up and down. The carpet is old though and should be replaced. He also said the motor is in excellent shape. I do have the motor for the lift to tilt the motor up and down. But we did not hook it up and I do not know if it works. I just wanted to share this information with you because I know nothing about boats. Work recently completed

Removed the two main beams in stern that support the rudders and main shaft struts as they were rotted.

Replaced with custom made laminated plywood. Materials used were West System Epoxy and marine plywood. Beams were caulked into place using 3M 5200 adhesive/caulk. Fiberglass matting and West System Epoxy were then applied to further strengthen and bond the beams directly to the floor.

Reinstalled main struts and rudders, resealed with 3M 5200.

Removed and rebuilt portions of the aft salon cabin bulkheads, using West System Epoxy, wood, fiberglass and brass screws.
